Boiswood, reclaimed wood creations

Boiswood is the eco-responsible division of MICHELENA. Offcuts of noble wood from door manufacturing are turned into accessories, panels and objects rather than discarded.

Manufacturing architectural doors generates offcuts of noble wood. White oak, mahogany, walnut, cedar. These pieces are too small for a door but too beautiful to throw away. Boiswood was born from that reality. Every offcut is sorted, dried and turned into a finished product that extends the life of the material. It is the conviction that a workshop working noble wood has a responsibility to make use of every piece.

Offcuts are recovered directly from the production lines at the St-Eustache workshop. They are sorted by species, dried if necessary, and brought to the Boiswood workshop for transformation.

A fully local process

No external transport, no separate sourcing. The wood moves from the door manufacturing chain to the Boiswood workshop without leaving the building. The result is a product with a minimal carbon footprint and full traceability.
